Macro at Footscray Park
Footscray Park is a 15 hectare park located on the south bank of the Maribyrnong River with views of Melbourne's skyline and Flemington Racecourse.

The outing to Footscray Park was attended by six Members. Even though the weather looked threatening and at times a sprinkle of rain, we enjoyed trying out our macro skills or experimenting. Not only did we photograph flowers, made interesting with rain droplets, we found a couple of snails and spiders. The outing was enjoyed by those who attended and interest was shown in the system that I was using - my flash with disfuser. Thank you to those Members who have uploaded their photos into the gallery.
Come along to Footscray Park to practice your macro skills. Hopefully there will be lots to photograph, from flowers to bugs of one description or other. Meeting point will be the Footscray Park Car Park, entrance off Farnsworth Avenue.
