Werribee Mansion Day Shoot
A day at Werribee Park Mansion amongst its ageless sprawling gardens. A great location for architecture, macro, landscape, possible portraiture as well as birds.

After a few cold and stormy days, seven Members met at the Guard House to explore the Mansion's ground and the rose garden. The morning started off quite cool and cloudy which lent to some good images but the clouds cleared for a nice sunny morning. After catching up for lunch, Members either headed home or to explore further. Nice having such a location in our own backyard!
Meet at the Guard House at 10.00am before we head in and walk around the property. In addition to the grounds of the Mansion, including lots of outbuildings, there is also the Victorian Rose Garden right next door, both provide wonderful photo opportunities.
We'll then get together at 12.30 at the on-site Cafe for lunch. There is also a picnic area near the Cafe.
Bring along your camera, tripod and macro gear. Could also be a good location to try out ND and graduated filters. The grounds are large so also wear some good walking shoes.
