Our first face to face outing is this Saturday and I am sure most of you are looking forward to it.  Please see below the agenda that we have put together and there will be several Committee Members also at each location.

2:00pm: Meet at Geelong Library, 15 Little Malop St, Geelong. Note: Mid to later afternoon will provide really nice lighting on the glass shard features of the west facing wall of Geelong Library. There is plenty of parking in this area, especially streets bordering Johnstone Park. Parking is free to 2 hrs in this area of Geelong.

4:00pm: Meet at Cunningham Pier. Parking is available on the foreshore road left (west) of Cunningham Pier, and some options across the road from Cunningham Pier. Note: Members to organise their dinner. There are some takeaway options.

6:45pm: Leave Geelong for Dog Rocks Directions: Take Aberdeen Street/Hamilton Highway inland before turning right on Fyansford-Gheringhap road and there's a turnoff to the right to Dog Rocks Road, where the site is located. Alternatively take the Midland Highway inland and Dog Rocks Road is to the left.  There is a car park at Dog Rocks on Tolloora Road with a gate to enter through.  Please note that there are no toilet facilities. The aim is to get to Dog Rocks for late afternoon light prior to sunset to scout the area/select a place (places) to take images from.  The landscape is not flat so you just have to be careful navigating the area.  Also, as we have had warm weather, there may be snakes to look out for.
