An annual event now on our calendar, the Paper Bag Challenge is a night where members are indeed challenged to take an ordinary object, and in the course of the meeting, create an extraordinary image of it for presentation at the end of the night.
We will have a talk from Brett Ferguson on the making of his award-winning image "Magnetism" which recently revived a perfect score in the Australian Photographic Society Australian Interstate Photography Competition (AIPC). You can download the catalogue of images for 2025 on the APS website.
Then onto a presentation about Food Photography and how you can capture food in a deliciously delectable way with simple set ups.
