Competition 6 - Portrait and Open

1st - A Grade: Open Digital - Baby Elephant Struggle © Wade Buchan

Competition results for our sixth and final round of competition for 2023 - Portrait and Open. Our judge was our very own Brett Ferguson. As we no longer advise scores we will only be presenting the award winners. We do still receive scores from the judge so if you would like your score please contact Tania, our competition steward via competitions@williamstowncameraclub.com.au and she will let you know.

For the purposes of this competition the set subject of "Portrait" was defined as:

A picture featuring a person or people participating in some form of sporting event. (SAPF via APJA)

An image of a living person or pet that accurately represents their anatomical features in which the face or profile is predominant. The intent is to meaningfully reproduce the recognizable appearance, personality, character, mood or qualities of the subject. It is not just a recording or ‘snapshot’ and its purpose is to memorialize an image of your subject for the future.
