Blue Lotus Water Garden Outing
A visit to the Blue Lotus Farm, Yarra Junction. Arrive early as parking is limited.
There is a cafe inside the gardens or you can bring a picnic lunch and enjoy it at one of the many sets of tables dotted around the location.
Travel time is approx 1.5 hours from our meeting hall.

Birds of Prey will offer our members to option to get up and close with birds of prey and capture them as they fly.

Otways and Apollo Bay Weekend Away
The Otways and Apollo bay offer quite the array of locations for photography. Beaches one side, forest the other. We're hoping to organise some group accommodation, but members are also welcome to find their own.

6th Competition: Open & Set Subject: People Portraits
Portraits are one of those subjects that everyone wants to do more of, but finding subjects to sit for us can be difficult, but we challenged our members to do exactly that for our 6th competition's set subject. How did they go?
Paper Bag Challenge
An annual event, our paper bag challenge is a challenge indeed. During the meeting members will need to take the mystery item from the paper bag. In groups, we'll work together to create an image that will be presented at the end of the evening. It will challenge our creative inventiveness and our quick editing skills.
Many Disciplines Workshop
We'll set up a few stations around the hall and work with some photography basics. At the time of writing this we're thinking Macro, Depth of Field, Still Life, and a few other concepts. Full details TBA, prepare to bring along your gear.

We gather but once a year to feast and celebrate the year that has been. Details about the location will be advised.
