Whittlesea Rodeo

On Saturday 25th Feb, the Williamstown Camera Club had its first photo shoot outing for the year. It was not for the faint hearted, with temperatures approaching 40°C, an hours drive north, and a late start and finish. I was pleasantly encouraged by an attendance of 11 hardy souls. As always, the ‘bikey boys’ were there in strength.

Trekking Kosciuszko National Park

In December 2011 I went trekking for a week in the Snowy Mountains with a group of 6 friends. We hiked every day for distances up to 20 kms – a bit tough on the legs, but abounding with photographic opportunities.

Melbourne Indigenous Arts Festival

This past weekend saw Federation Square host the Melbourne Indigenous Arts Festival, a collection of Indigenous culture on display including moving picture, sculpture, painting, photography and music. When I saw the line up included former Australian Idol Casey Donovan I decided to take my camera along and make some photos.
