Our first Camera Club weekend for 2023 was to Port Fairy. Nineteen members and families headed down the highway looking forward to an interesting programme ranging from sunrises, exploring the town and walking out to the lighthouse on Griffiths Island as well as exploring the area.

Using the export module of Adobe Lightroom Classic use the following settings to ensure your images are compliant for club competitions. These instructions should be consistent with all versions of Adobe Lightroom, if you notice anything different in your version of Lightroom let us know.
Our annual fungi hunt yesterday, saw 18 Members and family including new family, Andrew, Maria and Patrick McIntyre head up to Mt Macedon, meeting at Days Picnic Ground.

In preparation for our Fungi Hunt at Mt Macedon on the weekend here are some tips for the equipment you might need and the techniques you could employ to take some great macro fungi shots.

The forecast of a hot and windy day did not deter fourteen photographers (and one supportive partner) from descending on Ballarat. Thankfully the wind kept the temperature in the mid to high twenties for most of the day but it did make hat wearing and holding the camera steady difficult. We gathered at the Ballarat station and soon dispersed, looking for interesting compositions. Brian’s hat went flying off his head and its rescue was captured by Karl, illustrating his street photography prowess.
Our first outing for 2023 saw 24 Members and families head to Lavandula Swiss Italian Farm in Shepherds Flat.
2022 season of Williamstown Camera Club is now behind us.
This year saw us step out of the shadow of COVID with our first uninterrupted-by-COVID calendar after the previous 2 years of lockdowns and cancellations.
We thank all of our presenters, judges, fellow committee members, and members at large, who have shared their skills and knowledge with us throughout 2022 and we look forward to all 2023 will bring. Check out our calendar page.
